On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the founding of the city of New Orleans City, a video was made for the exhibition ‘Recovered memories’ in the USA, in which the relevant role that Spain had in the independence of the United States of America is narrated. In it, the aim is to extol/praise the figure of Bernardo de Gálvez, the Malagueño commander who guided the Spanish troops in the United States and who was decisive to win the battle against the English and who, therefore, achieved independence.
Part of the vídeo has been made from the animations of Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau paintings and Fernando Vicente’s Ilustrations. Both the exhibition and the video have been sponsored Iberdrola.
